Wow its been a while since i’ve been on here literally a year and a month since. Not much going on here as of yet, still living, still working I think one of the worst things about being my age is trying to figure out what the hell I would like to do in my life. I’m so confused as to what next step I want to take. My parents always told me when I was a kid how easy I had it, little bit of a guilt trip I suppose, but hey it worked lol. I attended college last year and took a horticultural landscaping course and it was a two-year program. I started in september prepared and went in thinking “fucking right, this is gonna be awesome”.

Unknown to me was the fact that when i thought i was getting into a program where I could really work and learn hands on, there was wayyyy more book work involved then I had originally assumed. That threw me off a little seeing as how im not really a person who can learn from books when it’s so much easier to see how its done properly and just do it. So needless to say two and a half months in I dropped out. I disappointed myself immensely.

So here I am, 23 years old, already took out a student loan, and am in debt. Stuck on what to do. I have several different options I have considered both with pro’s and con’s of course. I can either:

A. Take out another student loan and attend the university of Windsor and take a history course ( I have been a very big history buff since i was a kid).

B. Work where I am until I can work my way up through the ranks.

or C. Join the Canadian Air Force and see where it takes me. (Not really interested in the navy or army)

There are just so many ideas spinning around in my head about what I want to do and could possibly aspire to do. I’m thinking that the best move for me to make right now would be to suck it up, take out another student loan, and go back to the college or the university and pursue something to help me create a career for myself.

Only time will tell I’m afraid.

OK get this, I’ve been playing my guitar since about 5 o clock in my garage on a sunny Windsor day, and guess who should show up when I turn my back? The police. Really? Who in their right mind calls the cops on someone for playing “too loud” at 6:31pm on a Sunday afternoon? OK, granted it was pretty loud but what guitar player likes to play “quietly?” N-O-B-O-D-Y!!!!!!!!!! When the cops pulled up behind me in my alley at first I was surprised but in that split second I knew exactly what it was about. I turned to em n said “hey whats go-in on fellas?” and they proceeded to tell me what I had done/been doing. BOTH of the police told me they had no problem with it personally as one of them played guitar. The other one told me that he loved the sound of it (as I was playing for about a minute before I saw them) and that if he was off duty he would have come had a beer with me just to listen to me play! That’s absolute SHIT! So to all of you out there who have a problem with ANY type of music or creativity for ANY reason or AT ANY TIME!!!!. . . FUCK YOU!! And to all of those who have has the same problem KEEP ROCKING BECAUSE WE NEED TO KEEP THE FAITH ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Peace. )-(aunted

Direct Sales Fraud!

To whom it may conern and every other readers interested,

I started work for a company named Direct Sales force in the past couple months. Now this company is strictly an outsourcing business in which finacial institutions can hire and use employees to promote theire mosaik mastercards, visa and whatnot. I live in Windsor, ON and for any of those reading who are aware of it, theres this huge cupe strike going on in the city so its in pretty rough shape. I was naturally excited when I heard from the program manager for southwestern ontario that she wanted me to start, full time starting at 12 dollars an hour. Pretty sweet right? Well this is where it starts to get a little strange. After working for a couple weeks after that, Igot used to the routine. Wake up early, shower head out to work, scam people into thinking they are gettign a really good deal then go home at night. Well i got my first pay check. I was worth $204 the equivilent of 17 hours. Then in the following two weeks I would work well over 80 hours. Two weeks after my first check, My boss stands outside of the WFCU center at what would be one of the final spitfire games of the 09′ season. I take the pay check, unopened, and rip the sides open. Before I could even get a chance to look at the amount, my boss began to speak. She told me there had been a pay “discrepency” and I wouldnt be recieving the amount i had anticipated I was getting (which was well over $1200).I take a look and was shocked to see that I only recieved $221. I was furious. I was missing 72 hours!!!!

Well about two days goes by after the weekend had passed. I call this companies head office in Toronto. I get on the phone with a rep, and ill leave her name out fo this article for certain reasons. I tell her my situtation in a very calm manner and explain to her I would like to see my money immediately. And wouldnt you know it? This girl on the other end of the phone laughs, and laims that she is “completly overworked” and tells me to, and i quote, “fuck off”. and proceeds to hang up on me. Very professional right? And still to this day this problem hasnt been resolved. Im writing this today to tell all of the branch managers of CIBC, BMO, SHELL, STAPLES, and SHOPPERS DRUG MART to know that DIRECT SALES FORCE DOES NOT PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES! And its not just me that has been screwed by this completely unprofessional organization, there are many others like me including people i have worked with.

Silence Is Golden

Well well, here I am again. I moved to London this time though so thats why (incase you were wondering) I have not been bloggin’ l8ly. I moved right downtown on the corner of Victoria park. It’s gorgeous around here and it sure beats the hell out of n e place I’ve lived before. Other than Calgary. Given that in Calgary I didn’t live in what most people would call a “nice” area, the people that my brother and I shared the house with were really down to earth and chillin’. We lived on 12′th ave for about a little over a month when I decided to come back to this province. I don’t know why at first I decided to come back here but something was calling me. Anyways first in the house was Ronno. (no thats not h real name but im not going to include it). Ronno is from Hungary and he’s a real techhie. He loves computers, phones and Gin, by chance lol. Then there is Mojo. (Again, not his real name). Mojo was cool Sh!t too. He is from Somolia but ive never met another human being that has the same mindset as me when it comes to world issues and general respect for your fellow man. In my short time staying in Calgary I became good friends with both Ronno and Mojo. And they both smoked grass so that was a bonus for me too. However, we didn’t spend our smoking time acting stupid and laughing for no reason (although there was that sometimes lol) no, we talked about the world, rascism, war and other touchy subjects other people would be cautious to discuss around people of another ethnic nature. Talking to guys like this that Ive only recently met and from different cultures no less made me, aswell as both of them, wonder. How the hell can there be so much hate in the heart of this world? If everybody took a break and lit one up and just talked instead of pulling a trigger this would could be so different. But for some reason this ORGANIC PLANT that has been around since the time of dinosaurs, is still criminalized to this day. Oh well, I guess the world enjoys this hatefull, money grubbing society it’s created. Until the day comes when the guns fall silent, I’ll light one up with anybody who feels the same way I do.

I hate how sometimes your either with someone or you know someone that’s always with the mentality “me, me, me!”. Honest to God, I’ll not be the first to say, the act is getting tiresome. Very tiresome. I gave my phone to my g/f this morning and guys i’m sure you’ve all had this problem, She loses it and she blames it on you! Oh, well of course! It must be our fault for trusting you with something as simple as holding onto a phone for us! F#@K! It is so frustrating. You would do anything for your woman or your friends, even let them pack, and I mean pack, the car with all of her shit only leaving room for your leather jacket and guitar to sit in the back as if tossed into a demented game of tetris. But, we do it. Because We love you ladies. At our darkest time when you think we are being complete assholes, just remember we do it because we love you.

Sobeys Lacks On Timely Payroll

Ok, so picture this. You work a midnight shift for a good 25 days starting at 10pm and ending at 7am. 9 hours in total. And when your hired it seems that your manager is too imcompitent to actually forward all of your personal information to the payroll department so you get paid on time. Now one week, two weeks, three weeks goes by and guess what? Not one red cent to my name. Today the 26′th of september, I went to my work at 4 am to grab my pay stub only to learn I didn’t have one. Hmm, perplexing. So, come 8 am my manager was in so i inquired as to the status of my paycheque. When she went to type my name in the computer system, nothing. No records of me ever being employed there, no employee number, I wasnt even on the bloody midnight schedual! I was furious! Especially of the fact that I am supposed to go look at an apartment on tuesday and I needed that cash for the first and last months rent! So, my manager decided to contact payroll for me and see what was up. She calls me back and tells me that since I had no employee number to punch in and out, my hours were never clocked. All they could do for me was apply a number to my profile by this monday coming up, and have my money in my acount by wednesday. Sorry but I will not have it! Try having over 120 hours clocked and UNPAID! Right now ive never been more dissapointed and enraged with a company like this. I mean, how can a huge corperation like Sobeys Grocery not take care of something as simple as payroll for their employee’s?! This just leaves me to question the integrity and professionalism that this company actually holds. As of now im still waiting on that phone call from payroll aswell as sobeys to see how much more crap they can shove in my mouth. Ill keep you posted but until then, I would love to hear from you if you have had a similar problem or EVEN if sobeys itself has done this to you.

Dead Man’s Corner

Ok so im a little frustrated at the moment. Im in need ofd a bit of assistance from the gamers out there who are familiar with the B.I.A. Series (Brothers In Arms). Im currently on the mission called “Dead Man’s Corner” on authentic mode. I’ll give you a little outlay of my set-up I use. First I send my tank up about 50 yards on the road and have my fire team (Hartsock “red”) follow him, use the tank as mobile cover and supress fire on one of the infantriee groups (fallschmacher, Kostriker). Then I take my assault team (Desola, Corridon) and flank the first fire team on the left side beyond the bushes. When I approach the fire team I cover my ass by taking refuge crouched beside a fallen tree. Now here’s where im having a bit of trouble. After you kill all the infantriee groups, you move up the road a bit when you push the tank through the fallen trees on the road. As you move up the road a bit more, there are two german mortar fire teams that constantly and (more accuratly) bombard the hell out of you. When i go to move my teams up, even if I split the groups into different areas, boom, bang, the tanks is bombed by two shells and two more wipe out my fire team aswell as my assault team. This happens constantly even when im prompted to heal my squad. Is there anyone out there that can give me a bit of advice on this mission? It would be greatly appreciated.

Celestia – Strange Images

For those of you who have never used the program called Celestia, it’s pretty much the same generic program as Google Earth. Instead of viewing the earth you can observe some of the furthest reaches of our galaxy and some of our celestial neighbors. Anyways, im sure those of you who have used it might have, if your like me, become very bored with some of the things on the programme. However, in the last few months I have been observing some of the planets and rocks in our system and I have some across a few strange things around some of the outside planets. Considering that the “planet” status has been revoked from pluto recently, I usually don’t observe it, but when I was looking at Neptune, Jupiter, and Uranus, I came across some strange images on the surface and in low orbit of the planets. I have emailed a few observatories with these images and they could not give me a solid answer as to what they are. One of them suggested that it might have been a fault in the program. When I looked at the same planets within a ten minute span of closing and opening the program, I noticed these strange images had moved and some even dissapeared. Below are some of the main images I sent and could not explain.

As you can see these images reveal something that is clearly visible to the naked eye on screen. I’d like to hear from you if you have any ideas or theories on these images, or even if you would like to discuss something on this subject I would love to chat with you.

So What Happened To Westwood Anyway?

Well, 25 minutes and 2 cups of coffee later, I just came across something that suprised the hell out of me. What happened to Westwood Studios anyways? I knew that they were dealing with some financial hardships but who knew it was that bad? I never even knew that westwood was gone until I read it on another online forum. I have been a huge fan of westwood’s games for a very long time, especially the command and conquer series. I remember when the very first “Red Alert” came out I was ecstatic. I loved the stratagy aswell as the genre of the “world at war” type of gameplay. A small portion of the history of westwood is as follows. The company was created by Bret Sperry and Louis Castle back in 1985 out of Las Vegas. In august of 1998, EA games had purchased Westwood Studios for a hefty price of $122.5 million payed to the owners in cash. At the time Westwood and EA had approximately 5 to 6 percent of the market in PC gaming. With alot of titles that have captivated many people such as:

-Battletech

-Bladerunner

-Circut’s Edge

-The Command And Conquer Series

-Dragonstrike

-Dune

-Dune II

-Dune 2000

-Earth and Beyond

and many more, I was suprised to learn that the company had gone out of business. I was really saddened when I learned of this because the quality in which they made the C&C games will sorely missed. Especially the MMORPG title Yuri’s Revenge. Which was the last title of the command and conquer series that Westwood had ever released.

So Here I Am Again

Sitting here at 4am with a cup of coffee and a new game. Ha, get this. I just picked up a game at the blockbuster video around the corner in the used game section for $2! lol I couldnt believe it. The game is ESPN NHL Hockey. Its in mint condition too. Thats what gets me the most, thats one of those rare bargains I find every now and then, usually you can try pawn shops too. I got a barely used copy of killzone for the ps2 for like $5 a couple months ago. All in all, I have about 15-30 games that were pre-owned and they all work perfectly. I can’t figure out what to do with myself right now, I have two days off and the midnight shift makes you do crazy stuff. lol. So whats goin on with you? The reader. What are you doing right now? How long have you been up? Are you a gamer? If so whats your favorite game? Well once somethig entertains me, or enrages me enough Ill figure out what to write.
